Adhering to the C.B.S.E. norms the school begins its new session in the first week of April every year.

The school is run by St. Gregorios Orthodox Church Society, Udaipur.

The Gregorian fraternity tries to live up to its motto “Love LightethLearning” and continues this with the highest degree of integrity and ethics.

The school is located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible as it is 3 Kms from City Bus Stand and almost 4 Kms away from Railway Station.

We do not have any hostel or transport facility at SGSSS. The students are day scholars and they make their own arrangements for commuting to school.

All the classrooms up to secondary level are digitally enabled with smart boards and the content available is in lieu with the C.B.S.E. curriculum.

Sports help in teaching lessons of life such as teamwork, accountability, self-confidence and self-discipline. Sports are an integral part of our curriculum. We train our teams to participate and win at district and state levels. Our students have played at National as well as International Levels too. Basket Ball, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Badminton and many more sports training is provided.

The school is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) and we follow the syllabus offered by the board.

The school sticks to 1:1.5 student teacher ratio.

St. Gregorios harbours the best and well experienced faculty in the town. Their excellence and dedication is reflected in our board results every year.

The school has gained itself a magnanimous subsistence in the educational community in the city. We are known for our wonderful board results.

The campus is 24 x7 under CCTV surveillance. We have installed Fire safety equipments on all floors. The building safety norms are strictly followed. Ramp facility is available for the disabled. Disaster management monitoring is regularly practiced.

Various clubs have been formed under the aegis of SGSSS, viz. Science Club, Commerce club, Nature Club, Eco Club, Legal & Literacy Club. These clubs organize various trips to museums, community centers and conduct field and community activities like tree plantations, marathons etc. Class wise picnics and tours are organised every year for holistic development of students.

The campus is bustling with different inter house competitions and activities throughout the year. Annual function is organized every alternate year in which almost all the students are encouraged to participate.

In Classes XI and XII, three streams are available: Science, Commerce and Arts/ Humanities.

Apart from the compulsory subjects in these streams, the school offers an array of optional subjects to choose from, which include: Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Applied Mathematics, Painting Geography, Economics, Physical Education and Entrepreneurship.

Admissions are done on basis of personal interaction with the child and the parent at the pre-primary level. We conduct basic competency tests for Classes 1 and above.

There are many clubs that help to enhance the life skills and inter-personal skills of a child. At SGSSS, we have many clubs which cater to the needs of the holistic development of a child. Science Club, Commerce club, Nature Club, Eco Club, NCC, Scouts, Legal & Literacy Club have already made a mark. As a new initiative, Photography, Spoken English, Cubs and Bulbuls, Bunny Tamtolawill also begin from the next academic year.
